This March, Weveana will be attending the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2026 in San Francisco, one of the most important global gatherings for the video game industry. For us, this is more than just a trip. It is an opportunity to learn, connect, and explore new possibilities for web-based gaming from Ecuador to the world.

Over the past few years, Weveana has evolved from an interactive multimedia studio into a focused game development company, with a clear goal: creating original, accessible, and engaging web games for global audiences.

At GDC, we aim to:

  • Meet publishers and platform partners in the web gaming space.

  • Present our upcoming original projects.

  • Learn from industry leaders about trends in casual and browser-based games.

  • Represent Ecuador’s growing game development community on a global stage.

We are currently exploring publishing opportunities and strategic partnerships for our upcoming titles, which focus on short, polished, and highly replayable experiences designed specifically for browser platforms.

GDC is also a chance to strengthen international connections and showcase the creativity emerging from Latin America. As members of the Ecuadorian Game Developers Association, we believe visibility, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing are essential for building a stronger regional industry.

If you will be at GDC 2026 and are interested in web-based games, publishing opportunities, or collaboration, we would love to connect.

See you in San Francisco.
